Arise, oh my dear boy; awake now, oh Kṛṣṇa!

The birds are singing on every branch; the black crows are articulate;
V.
In Gokula the clamour is rising: rise, oh (our) darling one!

Wake up, do wake up, O dear, darling boy of Nanda!
