I do humbly beseech you to let this bearer bring me Calandrini²⁾ his note wich I delivered you this day; it wil be necessary to send the coppy of it to Paris. The party is returned to Amsterdam to try how the busines may be donne without that danger, and on Friday will appeare here againe with Forant³⁾, whom he desires to have obliged by the transportation of all his goods and estate, to send or bring home the shipps at the end of the four months, unles their be meanes found to pay for their longer continuance in the service, wich perhapps wil be no difficult matter to do, it being just and sutable to his owne integrity, especially if, as in all things, you will afford your happy and powerfull assistance unto this most charitable and necessary worke, so necessary, that it is beleived to be the last occasion that can be presented to serve their Majesties in, and this the last month .....⁴⁾.
