This is the haud of a stranger, who had the honour to take his leave of your ladyship in Lothbury Galery some 32 yeares since. Many changes and alterations succeeded on both sides during so large a space of time, but none in his heart and mind, for as much they were once dedicated and vowed to your ladyships service, I am bold to beleeve, Madam, that the same disposition doth raigne in your noble breast, and intreate your ladyship by these lines to let me see some verification of it by your owne hand..... 17/27 Aug. 1655.
